I ended up having to take a klonopin today due to the agitation and wanting to hurt myself. I hadn't taken one in over 40 days so I'm not building a tolerance.

My paranoia is a little worse lately, I find myself becoming suspicious of friends and checking my blinds for hidden cameras. My next pdoc appointment is june 21st, not sure how the community clinic does appointments or if I could call in for a sooner one. Hope all y'all are doing well, gonna try to check this forum more regularly.

My niece is stopping by with my sister tonight so see my apartment. My niece has never seen it. She turned 16 yesterday, our birthdays are a day apart, it's pretty cool. It's weird to think she'll be going to college soon, she was so little it seems recently

So I wasn't able to calm down yesterday until I watched a really sweet, funny movie Lars and the Real Girl. That got my mind off the anxiety. Looking back over the day, I had been having images of Dr Phil attacking me while I was trying to draw and it made me so anxious I had to stop and do DBT to calm down. I tried mindfulness, I tried meditation. They didn't work. It wasn't until I tried the movie to distract me that it worked. It wasn't an anxiety attack, per se, but enough to make it hard to function.
Interestingly, I am always really euphoric after I calm down from an anxiety spell or attack and yesterday and today are no different. I'm in a really good mood--of course it being Friday helps plus I'll be visiting with family today. Hope you all have a peaceful day. Hang in there. Oh god where do I start... um.. Ah fack it.. But yeah anyways my boss called me and I will go to work on Thursday at 9am.. Gives me a little purpose and responsibility which is good.. So I'll do that.. Go to bed early on Wednesday night... Vyvanse/coffee/nicotine is kicking in.. My most favourite of feelings.. |
