I found a nice pair of winter boots, they’re expensive so I’m gonna save up for them and get them in August. I mean, it doesn’t start snowing until like October/November but I want to be prepared since I don’t have any winter boots. We get a LOT of snow so I’ll definitely get a lot of use out of them for years to come, it would be a good investment. I want to be able to go outside and enjoy the snow.

Oh yeah, those new sneakers I just got are really comfortable. They’re sketchers memory foam air cooling.

Appointment with case manager went okay yesterday. She wasn't mad that I didn't get the third thing done but she was really impressed that I got two of the things done. She says I have really good skills. She did suggest that I see a psychiatrist for a second opinion (I'm on a lot of psych medications) and see someone in network. I see a Pdoc who does cash only so it's like $200 every time I see him. I budget to be able to see him 6 times a year, and so far this year have seen him three times. But it is a lot of money when I pay for good insurance and my copay would be $30. She's just concerned because I am on a lot of medications and I am still having symptoms. Hard to argue with that. It was a short call, maybe 10 minutes but it is nice to check in with someone. She doesn't seem terribly organized. Example. Last time she asked me for my primary care doctor's phone number so she could coordinate care but as I was on the phone with her I couldn't get it. So I had it ready for her and she was going to get off the phone call without getting the number so I was like, wait, don't you want this number? Maybe she was just rushed yesterday. She sounded rushed. I don't know if I should see a second Pdoc for a second opinion. My Pdoc gives me benzo (generic xanax) and I know some won't prescribe that. He also gives me a stimulant for the ADHD and some won't do that with a psychosis background. But maybe it can't hurt?

That stinks. Are you sleeping during the day and not at night? I am sleeping at night but I have nightmares lately. That wakes me up. Sometimes really early in the morning then I just get up. I hope your sleep schedule gets sorted out soon.

I usually would be doing that like that would usually be my schedule, but I’m sleeping all night and sleeping a lot of the day too.

JunkDNA--are there any food pantries by you? Sometimes Churches give away food (ours does). It might be enough to tide you over. Check it out.
