I've been having a rough time over the past couple of years. I get really anxious at times. Whenever I try to sleep I hear internal voices and sounds. I've heard about hypnagogic hallucinations, but I'm worried since these symptoms won't go away. I also get vivid closed eye images when I relax. My sleep can be restless with vivid dreams. I realize this isn't real. I've never experienced anything like this before.

I'm so very sorry you are burdened with these things. Sadly, I do not know anything about psychosis except what I've read from Wikipedia on the Internet. Hopefully others here with more knowledge, experience and insight will see your post and respond kindly and helpfully. My apologies to you for being unable to be helpful!

If you’re worried about it, it could be worth treating, you’ll need to see a psychiatrist.
