Is this normal? Shortly after I began to show clinical symptoms of psychosis, my diagnosis was Disorganized Schizophrenia. This was back in 2007. But then in 2015, I saw a different psychiatrist and he diagnosed me with Paranoid Schizophrenia. My sister thinks I had both Hebephrenia and Paranoid Schizophrenia. What do I think? I think I shifted from the former to the latter. I have been on antipsychotic medication continuously, over the years, for the most part. Can neuroleptics improve the symptoms of specifically Disorganized Schizophrenia? I have also heard that people can "grow out of" Schizophrenia. Maybe, in some way or form, it is similar to that? I also know that Hebephrenia has a worse prognosis than Paranoid Schizophrenia, which is supposedly the most auspicious of all the Schizophrenia subtypes. Anyway, answers to my two questions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well, shortly after posting this thread, I did another google search. According to a source, patients with Schizophrenia can switch from one subtype to another throughout the course of the illness. So I answered my own question.
