Heading out soon to take the bus to my doctor appointment. Didn’t fall asleep till after midnight and woke up at 5am so I’m really tired but just need to get this done and out of the way. I prefer early morning appointments to mid or late day appointments anyway. I like to just get them out of the way first thing in the morning when possible

Good for you, cogladaid, for splinting your finger by yourself. I never go to the doctor unless I can't fix whatever by myself.

Blue_Bird, my fingers are crossed for your appointment to turn out as easiest as possible!

Today I have important goals to fulfill. I feel kind of hopeful about it all.

Honestly I just feel stupid having sprained my finger. After this year of spraining my ankle, lymphoma scare, surgery, hematoma, fatty liver, wrist pain - now I sprain my finger to top it off.

It’s so dumb really. I’m just annoyed. I said in January when I had that lump on my neck that this year was going to be a year for physical health and sure was I right.

After years of battling my mental health now it’s physical health that’s getting me down.

My appointment went well. He said everything looks good in my bloodwork, cholesterol is somewhat elevated but he knows I’m working on that. And he is sending out a referral to a female OBGYN for me , I should get a call from them in 2 weeks. And he sent out refills for my omeprazole. Enough to get through the next year until my next physical since I’m doing well on it. He ordered bloodwork which I will get done before my next physical in a year from now. My blood sugar is good, low risk for diabetes shown in my bloodwork so that’s good, my electrolytes, kidney, liver, thyroid , heart all good. Blood pressure is good.

I really miss my dad now that I'm back in Canada. This was the best week I've had since I was in Guatemala 10 years ago. Spending time with him is so important to me.

Ignore the stuff I posted on my phone, I was just venting.

I should write in a journal about what happened, share some of my thoughts. I just want people to know what's in my head.. I had cool ideas on the plane, then got tired.

I feel so sad. I don't want to be. I feel like I can do it all - But I can't. I don't want to forget. I forget so much.

I haven't used any weed, psychedelics, ket in over a week. I feel so much better without them. I have to quit them for a long while. No phenibut either.

I still want to learn about them though. + Pharmacological things, books, podcasts etc.

I see my psychiatrist next week. I'll just keep my meds the same.

Wow, it's so good to hear you relaxed and happy! I totally agree with "give up and let the river take you somewhere else." I've had to do that at many very uncertain times in my life. It's a great viewpoint for those of us who are prone to anxiety, and think we hate change.

My goal for the next year is to lose 20 lbs and lower my cholesterol , so hopefully by my next physical in December 2023 I have that accomplished

I am doing fine this morning. Latuda is going better. I was getting super anxious on it, but that seems to have calmed down. Also I can take extra Klonopin PRN for the anxiety that I get.

Holy I saw one doctor today about previous gastro issues I was having. It was mainly because of my liver and my weight and it’s better now I lost weight and my liver numbers are normal.

Anyway they weighed me and I noticed the weight that they had from when I previously saw them. Either their scale is off, or I’ve lost 83 pounds since I last saw them. Like Jesus I thought I lost 60 pounds. I can’t believe it.

That’s insane honestly. I’m still overweight and need to lose more weight to be in a healthy range but I can’t believe I’ve lost so much more than I thought.
