Thanks! Yeah I feel slightly better today, I was kind of in an anxiety mode yesterday, though I got through it.

Today I took a bus really far to the university I used to attend when I was on exchange here, and it was nice. The return ride took forever though. But it was fine.

I am trying to take a class at that university so we'll see if I can.

I am trying to feel more engaged.

And yeah, as for the skateboarding, I am definitely not good at it, so I bought wrist guards for sure. I'm not going to try anything dangerous except trying to stand on the board for now. Then I'll probably progress to trying to ride it short distances like 20 ft or so. Then after that I'll buy a helmet. Haha.

Busy busy busy today. Working non stop since 730am (it’s 245pm now and it’s finally quiet). I took a couple minutes break to eat lunch and like go to the washroom and stuff but non stop all day.

Anyway, I got a call a little while ago from the psychiatrist office. My doctor put in a referral to them last week when I had my worries about medication.

It seems like once a year something come up and I have to see the psychiatrist again. It’s frustrating I don’t like rehashing everything over and over again.

Appointment is on the 29th at 830am over Zoom. I see my regular doctor on the 24th though so that’s all good.

I am also super grateful for the changes I've made to be able to follow my psychiatrist's advice, cause without my psychiatrist down here, I'd not be in a good place mentally speaking. Without his supervision, care, and other stuff that psychiatrists do (i.e., advise on meds, etc.)

Anyway, I am really glad I put in the effort to try to follow his advice at every turn. I am now down to 2.5 mg of clonazepam (from 3 mg).

One thing that really helps living alone is having cats and dogs as you do. They always need you and they keep you going. I loved living alone until I got psychotic and started hearing the psychopath (which was my psychosis at work). I still can't believe how much I suffered for so long. Even after he was finally gone, I kept "hearing" my neighbors late at night doing things to torment me. That's why I'm afraid to go home.

I’m sorry you miss your apartment. maybe you can decorate your room at the nursing home and kind of make it your own space?

Yes, that's a good idea. My part of the room looks like a drug store junk aisle. I have a ton of stuff here. I wish I were talented at designing.

There was corned beef and cabbage here too, and it was really good. Then there was a party, but I didn't go.

Figures I’d run out of a med on a weekend and not realize it until after business hours ugh. I have one day left of doses of sertraline and it needs prescriber renewal so I have to call on Monday and leave a message with a nurse and hope they send the refill in soon. I don’t know how many days you can go missing an AD and if you need to start over at a smaller dose or if I can just take my dose. I’ll only miss like 3-4 days of it at most

I’m so tired I can’t even think straight. Been up since 2:30am. It’s 6pm now. I need to sleep but I’m trying to wait because I don’t want to end up sleeping too early and waking up again in the middle of the night.

My brain feels like it’s melting.

Ah Christ BB.. I'm sorry.

I think the brain gets used to either sleeping normally, too little or too much (Cuz of neuroplasticity) - So the healthier you can allow your sleep to be (For a longer amount of time), the more that the brain molds..

But many people function on little sleep. And since you can get mania sometimes, too much glutamate (SP? NO NOT SPELLING.. SP MAYBE KNOWS)

But.. scientists have been trying to figure out everything about sleep, since the first curious, confused scientist, philosopher etc..

Anyway.. Zopiclone gets me to sleep in 20 minutes (Half a pill, sometimes a whole one) - Never built any tolerance to it.. It's just super hard to wake up (Not cuz of the zopiclone, but from antipsychotics or depression), so need an upper to wake up as well (Like Elvis).

I remember (At one point), my problem was so bad.. I called it the "Sleep-wake problem" and I told everyone... I was like;

"The sleep wake problem!", "The sleep wake problem...", "The sleep wake problem =["

And I was on so many random meds.. figuring it out. So much distress. I said to people + Job, "Ok.. I know all of these meds seem unprofessional etc... but this is just the peak of absurdity with them.."

And I was right.. It eventually slowly declined and got better.

It didn't help that I also was having bad DPDR/anxiety.. It was such a terrible time.

Thanks Desoxyn , I ended up falling asleep around 11pm last night. It was a long day lol but the Thorazine finally kicked in and I slept pretty well, just woke up now at 6:30am

I have trazodone that I use PRN. Usually if I don’t fall asleep by a certain time or if I get up at like 1am I take one of those but I forgot to the other night.

I have to sleep though and make it a priority . less sleep more impulsive and worse decision making

Between all the excitement yesterday, I just couldn’t get myself settled down enough to sleep even though I was exhausted. But I got there eventually

Gathering all my stuff for taxes (been procrastinating on it). Got my donations (local homeless shelter, local mood society organization, national cancer society, and national schizophrenia society), T4 from work, prescriptions, glasses receipt.

Just need to add up the gluten free food. Basically the difference between regular food and gluten free food I can claim on my medical.

So like… regular pasta is $1. Gluten free pasta is $3.79. I can claim the extra $2.79 on my medical.

It’s just a matter of taking all the receipts, putting into an excel spreadsheet and figuring out regular food pricing. It’s a bit of work and I hate doing it.

Hopefully I get a good return when I do get my taxes done.

Uy, yes that reminds me, I have to do my taxes as well. Yikes. It always gives me anxiety. I know I am going to get a refund this year because I didn't work much, but still. The whole exercise of it all stresses me out.

Good for you for doing it though.

Yeah sleep is one of those mysterious things. I don't think we'll ever be able to crack it honestly. There are certain things we just won't be able to ever figure out. That is how I think about it at least.

What I mean is: we can study sleep and things like that and know more about it, and research it, and figure out things about it, but we will never know what it truly is, if that makes sense. Its true essence.

And I still don't believe there's any such thing as a "sleep hack." There's really no evidence for a lot of those sleep hack things. I don't know if you all have seen any of those devices that are sleep hacking devices. But I don't think they work.

Edit: Not sure why I got super philosophical about it. But oh well.
