Most of my psychoses center around spiritual demonization and how to fight them off. Some people say I'm just thinking or talking to myself, but I believe a separate entity called demons are oppressing me. They twist reality so that I can't figure reality out. But by talking directly to the demons and directing them to go somewhere else, I'm able to cling to the truth, what I believe is a foundational truth that another separate entity, God, is for me.

When you have a separate entity in charge of reality and you know it's true, it makes psychosis so much more easier to handle. It doesn't make the oppression fun, but it helps me handle psychosis so much better.

I knew of a drama therapist who worked with actors to play the parts / entities, and it really helped the patient grapple his/her state.

It had the effect of handing the reins of control/command back to the person seeking treatment, if that makes any sense.
