If anyone said those things about me, or threatened to have me committed I'd want them out of my life too.

I have a friend who thinks a man(vocally) is possessing him. He believes this man makes him gag and screech. I notice it happens when he is stressed: ie talking on the phone , discussing the topic therapy(other than medication), when someone tries to gently tell him that this voice is unhealthy and to disregard it, and so on... He lives in a place where his medical health is somewhat overlooked and needs advocates. If anyone has any advice on how he can overcome this ( such as insisting on therapy or anything ) that I can bring to his "guardians" it would be greatly appreciated. Good luck and best wishes to all.

My voices (which are a doctor and a neuroscientist or something) sent electrical impulses through my nerves from an artificial neuron and it has helped me quit smoking??

They have me believing that I could get any job in this hospital that would otherwise require a BS or MS degree without going to school because I am a "genius". LOL does anybody else hear things that are similar to this?

Hello there...I am new here and I am very confused as to what's happening to me...I'm 15 years old (female) and some strange things have been happening the past few months...I have been hearing voices INSIDE of my head and they decide what I should do and what not.I'm scared of them because the one says she is a ghost and she can posses me and make me kill everyone I love and the other voice (a male one) says he's a serial killer and he will kill me when I least expect it.Lately (the past 2 or so weeks) I have been seeing things such as shadow people in the corner of my eye...When I look again they are not there and/or are just another object...Sometimes I even see them move when the object I confuse to be them is completely still. Then there is this girl around my age following me through refelctions...I don't know what's wrong with me..I am afraid of what they can make me do...They get me paranoid and angry for no reason...I tend to confuse reality and fantasy a LOT lately..When I go out to school I don't know what's real or not...What if this is more than just puberty?!..I'm scared...

This is my first time to this site and am so glad to have found it. I have a question. What is going on when things, places and even people smell so very bad that I have to leave? Sometimes it actually smells like feces. Sometimes like musty and moldy. (I've had those checked out and no one else smells them.)
Yesterday my doc took me off Seroquel 300mg as it was driving my sugar up to the 400s and my blood lipids on the last panel to 1170. yes, 1170. I was on it for almost 6 months and am diabetic. We only learned of these drastic numbers last month when I did an A1C test and since, a metabolic panel. He's ordered something for my sleep but for the next 3 weeks (or unless it gets really bad and I have to call him) I'm not going to have any anti-psych meds. Have you heard of this odoriferous symptom before? I forgot to tell him about it. Just told him I haven't heard voices or felt paranoid in 6+ months. |

I am so sorry for you and your family member who suffers from this mental illness. You probably know that it will not go away by itself, and if triggered, could lead to a very serious outcome. He needs to seek help now to show the court that he is doing a program. If they put him in jail (the worst place for a mental patient, there is no knowing of how he will be treated by the other inmates and he will probably come out much more sick than he is today. I am speaking from experience with my sister. Denying that she needed help, that her psychosis was real but as long as she could hold down a job proved that she was ok, then having an uncontrollable fit of rage and disaster put her in the same place. I know you can't "make" him do anything but let him know that you've heard from someone who has already been there and jail is hell, I mean hell, for a mental patient in prison. They don't give you counseling. They only sometimes give you your meds, because they often don't have any in stock. And the violent inmates see who the mental patients are and taunt them, bully them, beat them, and rape them. He will become a victim. I'm telling you the truth and I know it isn't pretty but I hope it helps stir your brother on to seeking help before it is too late. T Last edited by WannaDog; Mar 30, 2016 at 10:16 AM.. Hey hatty, what sort of symptoms has your son been experiencing? Does he hear voices? Does he see things they are not there? Does he seem paranoid? like someone's out to get him? does he seem suspicious of you or other family members? I know how you feel

you are alone but that's ok right now you can talk to me I have schizophrenia also and I'm very happy. going on eight years now trust me don't listen to them. its better to find out whos voices your hearing and cut them out your life and figaur out what you see in your mind because these voices are tricky and its hopeless if you don't cut them out your life I had to cut these voices out my life in October 2015. I'm very happy aint a damn thing they can tell me. they messed up my life and I realized life is more realer than ever. past present and future. think of your dreams being put up on a triple beam..tell them voices you'll never lose focus. really tho

I Have Schizphrenia ! And I'm most grateful for my mother. Ive had schizophrenia for 8 years now. and in October 2015, I changed my whole perspective. And going crazy is just apart of the game. Keep God First and make them player haters believe.
