the other night i was hearing a distinctly male voice inside my head - not external, definetly internal, which i guess is a good thing. But the thing is it was speaking nonsense.. like just random strings of peices of sentances that didnt make any sense.. things like "wash down the ice cream with riding horses on a cloudy day with rain looks like it could be but maybe not" ect ect.

I have borderline personality disorder, could this be triggering it? I am in a semi-crisis situation right now and just switched to seroquel, which seems to be helping so i dont know if i should worry too much about it or if i should just give it a while. It doesnt tell me to do anything bad, or that sort of thing, just nonesense commentary.

What was your state of conciousness? If asleep, nothing to worry about. If awake and alert, let your therapist know about this.

from my experience - nothing to worry about. probably worth mentioning to your doc, but nothing to get further stressed over.

when i am in crisis/when i get stressed i get voices in my head too. they talk to each other - complete nonsense - eg, about carpentry, when to go on their smoke break etc. they dont talk to me at all - but sometimes they get annoying because i want to sleep and they wont be quiet.

my best guess is that this will die down when your crisis situation lifts. but as i said, probably worth a mention to your doc (but nothing to worry over).

rainbowzz, it is very common for people with BPD to hear voices especially under stress. i got the impression that you are in a situation like this.

hope the seroquel starts working for you. (maybe also a good thing to report to a therapist/doctor etc)
