I wonder how many people with mental health problems are on medication called Statins??

Please check if any member of your family is on Statin medication, if they are and having any of the symptoms that I've listed below then please let them read up on dangerous side effects of Statins, then at least they can make their own educated choice as to whether to continue with these drugs or stop taking them. Turns out that half the UK are on these drugs but thats OK as the governments statistics for heart attacks are dropping as now everyone is ending their life by suicide, end up in a psychiatric hospital or disability.

People deserve to know the truth.....doctors need educated by results NOT drugs companies promoting their drugs!

I have also contacted GMTV, Watchdog, The Write Stuff, my MP, BBC, General Medical Council etc. in hope that someone will listen.

Much thanks for sharing the information linzscotland. You are quite correct that drugs -- pharmaceutical and otherwise -- can sometimes lead to psychotic states of consciousness.

Anyone who has experienced a psychotic state should carefully review any contributing factors within their environment, including drug effects.

I need my doctor to listen to me next week and take my mum off this drug immediately, our family have been through compelte hell the past 6 months, mum started taking Statins for her high cholestrol 7 months ago. Lost the use of her legs and her mind, muscles wasted, the list is huge.

Type statineffects into a search engine or also try spacedoc, there are loads of these websites telling of the massive dangers so why doctors have got everyone on them is beyond me.
