Is schizophrenia really so hopeless of a disordser that only a few people ever recover?

I think people's version of success can't be 100% cure because that is so rare, if you look at the other success stories on other boards you'll see they rate success as taking a shower, interacting with other people etc---smaller goals. I think people just aren't posting their small goals and triumphs here.

People do get better at managing symptoms. I think the true success stories don't get posted here because people are of being busy and living their life.

most success stories are not even mentioned, for example, I had not serious psychotic symptoms the last 10 years, that is a small victory for me
