I'm a senior and graduating this May. Iam feeling so much anxiety. It is such an overwhelming feeling. I'm majoring in social work and I'm scared I wont find a job to pay off my $10,000 loan. I feel I'm not prepared for the real world for social workers. I just don't feel I'm ready to help the disadvantage families. I dont believe in myself. I'm graduating with a 3.0 gpa so I know I'm not stupid but still I have so many doubts.

Hey there Jenn1fer!
CONGRATS on the good work!! You've made it this far, had good grades, so why can't you score a job?
Do you at least have a small job? That's a great place to start.
Have you talked with other social workers with experience before? I'm sure they'll be a great help.
Believe in yourself, just do it. There's nothing to worry about! Don't doubt a single thing, you'll do really well, and the reason why I'm saying this is because of your 3.0 gpa! That's something to be proud of, and it'll take you far.

A smile & positive attitude is what you need. Good luck!

Congratulations, Jenn1fer. You have competed with your peers and have graduated. There is no reason to believe you will now be unable to compete.

oh jenn congratulations! you are graduating with a better GPA than most of the entire country! you should be so proud of yourself that you've made it this far, no matter how difficult it has been or will be. this is a huge, monumental part of your life... but dont stress! you don't have to work much harder to graduate, just keep doing what you are doing and everything is going to be fine

you've already been quite the competitor, so don't stress about that!!

again, congratulations!!

Oh man, I totally understand.

I'm doing a SECOND undergrad degree because I feel incompetent and that the real world is scary!

For the student loan, try not to worry too much. They can't take money from you to pay it off if you really don't have it! That's where talking to financial advisors come in handy if it comes to that.

But you WILL find a job, have faith in yourself. You're not stupid - you're BRILLIANT!

Anxiety is normal from all I've heard, but it's pretty paralyzing, huh?

One step at a time - have you talked to a career counsellor about places you may look for a job in your field??
