First off, I honestly think the one teacher hates me. [There are two that teach the class, because it's considered a double class.] Almost everything I hand in she grades them unfairly it seems.
Because of a series of awful occurrences in my family, I sort of fell behind. And now I might fail the semester, what can I possibly do now to save my grade? |

I would go talk to the teacher, tell her a little about your issues and ask her advice and help? Do you have any friends in class that you can study with, get a little help catching up? If you're more comfortable, talk to the other teacher; you know they talk together and you could hint at how you don't think the one "likes" you. How do you think you are being graded unfairly?

dunno if your problem's worked out yet, but what i find to help is having a coselour talk to them. i mean, i wont lie, it maybe a tad uncomfortable if you dont like counselours and such, but they help get the message to the teacher and adults seem to listen to other adults more than they do to kids

It may sometimes seem as though the grades are unfair but it can be just a hard marking scheme. For my professors, some of them have class test averages where a 60-63% is considered amazing, others where a 75-78% is considered average for that course. If the issues are still going, then try to tell the teacher about them, they may not grade you easier though, they may help you out. If not, then ask your friends, get a tutor or simply study online.
As silly as it may seem, youtube can be great as there are many very good professors and even teachers who post videos, and compared to previous professors or teachers, some of these youtube ones are amazing. You may not always get your question answered by them but generally the more mature users watch them so sometimes you can get an answer from them, other times the maker of the video is more active so they may respond. |

Study. Do excellent work. Get a tutor. It's an honor's class. It's going to be hard. It's the nature of the beast.

hang tight bud. honors isn't supposed to be easy, show those teachers off.
keep a homework planner. it's really helpful, and when you're done with that assignment cross it out with a marker or scribble it out. in that way, you'll never have to look or think about that assignment..EVAH :P (it's helpful..) |
