I don't know if I am imagining things or trying to blame everything on dissociation, but I have noticed that as my dissociation has gotten worse, I haven't been able to study as well. I used to be able to sit and do work for hours, getting way more done than I needed to. Now I can't seem to concentrate and I do little more than what is required of me. Has anyone else had this experience?

We only have so much attention and energy. Sounds like your working with the dissociation at this time might be more important than working on your studies for hours. I'm glad you can do what is required of you.

Sometimes you have to do just what you can and that is all that is needed. Focus on taking care of you and your needs, do what you can, and go from there. Is there someone you are seeing for this, a T or pdoc? It might be good to get in touch with them to help if things are getting to be more problematic. School also brings out more stresses which influences our symptoms and meds. Take good care of you and the rest will fall into place. Sending good wishes your way, hang in there.
