Ugh, how I hate school. I've hated it ever since first grade. we constantly moved when I was younger, so I never made any friends. Now that I'm in high school and yet again in a new town, I would rather cover myself up in paper cuts and dive into a pool of lemon juice than go another day. I am sitting her alone on Thanksgiving day while my family goes and celebrates it in another state because I know I wouldn't get my homework done if I went. School is my Hell and I wish I didn't have to go to actually do something with my life.

I have to say, I admire you. Many would have just gone instead of staying to work on their homework. It takes dedication to continue doing what you are doing even when you don't want to be doing it. I am sorry you spent Thanksgiving alone when you don't want to be. So glad you posted. It is important to take some time to do something you enjoy to balance the work you do not.

School definitely can be hell; I know it was for me early on but it did get better. I also changed my outlook to USE school for what I could get out of it, where it could take me later, and so I would have options for the future. As far as actually doing something with your life, hopefully you'll find something you WANT to be doing that makes it all worthwhile. It will come; it really will. When you find it, it will all fall into place and the hell will end.

Thanks. This really boosted me up, I really appreciate it. There's always next year, plus Christmas to spend more time with my family.
