I just wanted to wish everyone the very best this semester. Fresh starts all around. Tackle bits a time, take breaks, and know you can do it. Good luck to you!
Cheers,
-Fresia
Thanks for this!

I actually have good professors this semester so things should go smoother.

Thanks!
I'm trying to be positive about this semester, although it starts tomorrow and I'm already tired just thinking about it lol
I have a car this semester which makes things much easier (I live off campus) and as far as I can tell have better instructors, which helps. I'll be very busy this semester but I'm hoping it will go better than the last one.

Wow, I can't imagine what it would be like live off-campus without a car! Allthough, I guess this means you have buy a parking permit now?

No, its a little community college so everyone lives off campus, requiring parking permits would be just mean lol. (I'm transferring to a bigger university after I pick a major to save money) But it has as many students as a regular university so its really crowded, I have to park near the top of a 6 story parking garage and take the stairs down (and back up), then all my classes are on the second floor of different buildings. I guess I'm getting a workout outside of martial arts too lol

Btw, I used my mom's car before so I didn't have to walk 20 miles but having my own car is obviously cooler lol and because of health problems my mom couldn't be home alone without a car, so she came with me

I have a $135 parking permit for a lot that makes my walk about 1/4 mile...
Parking garage is $220 or so, so I just walk.

I think both me and my mom would go completely nuts with that arrangement.

At my last school, parking permit was $175 a semester with a serious hike and the garages were not an option for a flat spot but $15 an hour and impossible to get into. They tried to encourage the busing system which was actually a good system in that the buses ran on time but it took so much time, it was terrible and hotter than hell.

I am fortunate now, $15 for the year for parking tag (optional) but the parking garage is $10 automatically added on your fees, unlimited use w/ an id. Sometimes there are problems with parking but just have to plan ahead.

It's ridiculous how much they charge just to park
When I transfer to a bigger university that uses parking permits or charges for the parking garage I'm hopefully going to get an apartment not a dorm, leave my car there and walk/bike to classes lol
