I started an alternative school 4 month ago, not bad at first but because I started late in the year I'm behind in my courses, I've been working on a class one at a time but this head teacher gets at me about it, he talks to me like I'm a idiot, he intimidates the hell out of me, if I stop working for like a few minutes for a break, he flips out and saids "you're gone fail" and "you're pissing me off", I tried to get caught up but no matter how long I spend on a subject, it never changes.
He calls my dad and tells him I'm slacking off, which is not true and it's not just me, he does it to all the other students at my school. He just makes me so angry that at times I want to ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm sorry you are having problems with this particular teacher. Given the circumstances, I would try to "block" him out and come up with your own plan, write it out and then work it. You can only do what you can do and you are doing it for yourself, not him; doesn't matter if you "fail" or not in his world; your education is for yourself and what you want/need to learn to help you. Come up with a reply to his comment that he can't argue with, such as "Yes, sir, thank you sir for your time" and then go back to whatever it is you are working on. Experiment with various replies and see which he "accepts" and leaves you alone more after and which cause him to try to get a different response from you. He could seriously think he's helping by noting when you're not working or he could just get his jollies when you jump guiltily or resentfully, etc. He might not like it that you are confident and moving at your own pace, doing your own thing. But that's life; he won't be your head teacher forever! You are your ultimate head teacher.

I'm sorry to hear about what you have been through. It's not right for a teacher to say that to you. Your teacher is there to support you. I don't blame you for being angry. I would be annoyed and upset if a teacher said that to me. Maybe your teacher is stressed out because of his job or issues at home. Or maybe he is one of them people who expect people to perfect. Don't listen to his rude comments. I hope you be okay

Ardmore ...
Quick suggestion for you. Go and purchase one of those small digital voice recorders, you know, the ones you can put in your pocket and they record your voice / conversations, etc. Walmart / Target / Office Depot / Staples usually carry them in the electronics section of their stores. Head to class and have the recorder stashed away in your purse, pocket, wherever (but out of sight and don't tell ANYONE - not even your closest friend or friends about it), and record your daily interactions with the head teacher. If HE gets out of line and makes comments like you've mentioned above, then hopefully, you'll be able to catch it on the voice recorder. It will back your claims up and will serve as evidence. Key point here is: DO NOT TELL A LIVING SOUL IN YOUR SCHOOL ABOUT THE RECORDING DEVICE. Nobody. Otherwise, you run the risk of getting booted out. If you do acquire the recorder, do a couple of test runs with it stashed away on your person to see if it will pick up voices clearly around you. OK, just my two cent idea here. Take care, vertebrae ![]()
