I am supposed to do an assignment for class. I need a child volunteer to do the assignment (I am practicing administering a test.) The family I used to babysit for (I got laid off when the mom lost her job) agreed to let me test their kid. I talked to them a week ago and they said they would have to get back to me about when exactly they could do the testing. But I have called a couple of times sense then and they haven't answered or called back. I would have more time to do this, but we have to share supplies between three students. I don't come from the area I go to school in so I don't have connections to kids here. It is about three hours of time, so it is a lot to ask, but they said they would do it. Now I'm not sure what to do.

googley, I read your post and I understand that you are in a pickle--that you need a kid to administer the exam to. Have you considered going to the public library to find a parent. If they were willing you could set a time to administer the exam to the child.

The family finally got back to me this afternoon (after a week of no contact). It was causing me so much anxiety. We were able to set up a time to test. I hate anxiety around class/school. It makes me have so many triggers.
