Help, I want to study, or at least I think I do, I have work to do, and don't want to do it. I want to but something is stopping me, I hate this. I know part of it is the Depression, but I still hate this, I thought that everything was good but, it turned out to not be. I was going to be in a music group but have decided not to, so I can study and do Volunteer work, instead.

Also has anyone with Depression ever regestered with the ADA office on their campus (or disability services department)? If so how has it helped you?

I was going to start going to treatment but I'm a highschool student taking 3 college classes plus my extra cirics so I decided to just keep my mouth shut for now. But I do understand how you feel. Everytime I pick up my books I just want to go to sleep. And I do sometimes. But sometimes you just have to make yourself sit up and do it. A suggestion would be to do it somewhere where you have to sit up and people can see if you're working like the kitchen table. My personal favorite place is the library. I go with a friend and I have to complete at least one assignment befor I can go find a book. And another before I can start reading. If I don't finish all of my work I'm not allowed to check it out to finish it. That works for me.

But what I really wanted to comment on is your last self injury. It makes me feel awful because that's the last time I did too. And even worse, it was my birthday. So I definitely understand. So here's a hug to maybe help you through and remind you that you're so not alone in this.

thank you for your response. and the hug. It does help

and maybe a change in place may help to. If only the place that I like was open longer.... for sure it will be next week.
