Day 2 was better. I was mostly behind the till. I did do some mistakes but oh well... we learn from them. I did a bit of dusting because things can become dusty. I try to follow the instructions but sometimes I may need reassuring. I even had trouble turning the DVD and TV on In the museum there are DVDs which are on all the time. My supervisor helped me out. Then I had my lunch and the other volunteer took my place. When I finished lunch, I went back to the till area. There was more customers than yesterday. I had to greet the customers and say no photography/filming because it's the rules and most of the stuff is copyrighted I guess. I said here's £... amount of money. Some people gave in £10 notes. I hate when someone does that! There is a note written about how much change I have to give. I have to write down on the paper how many people paid and stuff. I had the volunteer beside me to help me if I struggled. I do think my confidence is improving.... I have a day off tomorrow and I have to be in on Friday and Sunday. BUT.... I counted the money when the museum closed and I was one pound down. But my supervisor wasn't nasty. She understood that people make mistakes.

Don't worry about day 1. It's only volunteering, nothing special
