I hate school. Its a chore to me. I get mild depression sundays, because school is the next day. Is there any way I can grow to like school? Or at least be able to bear it sucky-ness.

Well imo, school IS a chore. For me it was impossible to like/enjoy so I just accepted that I hated school but that I had to go anyway (nowadays you cant even get a hamburger flipping job w/o a hs and college degree) hope that helps .. somewhat

I think that perhaps it isn't a matter of hating school that is important but rather just that you do your schoolwork and learn what you can.

I was telling my dentist that I don't really like to floss my teeth and he said, I'm not asking you to like it, I just want you to do it.

You are almost finished. You can do it!

One of the happiest evenings of my life was my high-school graduation ceremony. Free at last! Needless to say, I did not like school either.

However, I went on to college and loved it! Sure, I had to study--but my social life was much improved and at least I could take some courses that I actually wanted to take and even enjoyed.

Just one more year---you can do it!

By the way, now that I've said all that--anything in particular that you "hate" about it that you'd like to share?

Can you transfer to an online school, work to your own schedule and without some of the daily suckiness?

Make a 3 year plan and work toward that 3rd year (when you will have graduated), keeping it in mind instead of the daily mud/suckiness.

School advisers are overworked, and may not give you information you need about classes you might actually enjoy. Check out Technical (Vocationa) school, junior college dual credit, and some of the optional classes available to you. Explore art, or a hands-on science class. You might just be stuck with classes you hate because your adviser doesn't know what subjects you would like. If you have even one class a day to look forward to, Sundays get a lot better.
