i dont feel like im studying like i used to.
i dont have ambition in life any more, but i still like to eat and play video games ( even tho i dont feel good while im doing it because i have a ton of studying to do), so i dont feel depressed.
im just having a hard time sacrificing the things i like (ex: video games, working out, chyllin) for the things i need to do ( study ).
maybe responsibility is killing me?

Hi Nutmeg, I understand,I have a problem keeping my mind on what I am trying to study, I wish we had a switch to turn everything else off except what we need to be thinking about.

Hi,
Ambition means it doesn't means that should be only related to education you can have ambition in the sports even. So whatever interest you are having keep that as ambition and grow to higher levels.

I struggle to find motivation to study as well, so I know the feeling. Sometimes it helps to play soothing, soft music (no lyrics) to help you concentrate. You could also try using the "reward system" - study for however many minutes, and then reward yourself with a video game session afterwards. I like to take the minutes I study and multiply them by 3 (i.e. - 10 minutes of study time = 30 minutes of computer time), but that's just me.

These methods haven't quite worked for me yet, but they work for a lot of other people so maybe they'll work for you.
