About a month ago I finished massage therapy school. My formal graduation is going on right now as I sit in my bed at home (my comfort zone). I can't come to the conclusion if it was the depression or the anxiety that has kept me at home but either way it's very discouraging as I made many friendships in my classes. They became like an encouraging family to me. I actually miss school because it was in some way a routine for me. For now, until I pass my MBLEX exam on the 17th I am at home most of the day by myself. I have three children, and most of the time when it comes to them I am able to pull myself out of what feels like is state of drowning. Even leaving the grocery store tonight I was almost in tears because all I wanted to do was get home.

I wonder why this event would make you feel so anxious. Do you have anxiety problems? You were able to go to class.
I agree that it might be a good idea to meet with a therapist for a few sessions to see what's going on and to get treatment if needed, if you haven't already. I know you're sad that whatever it was led you to stay home. And I know you don't want to stay in bed all the time! |
