I’m taking a class about creating websites with HTML and CSS. I'm not good with computers.

The teacher’s style is to spend the first half of the class going over the web pages he had set up and explaining them in brisk detail. His explanations are hard to follow. I know I should take notes, but it’s physically impossible to write down everything he says. Every week, I’m bombarded with more and more information that I don’t understand, and I can’t even get past the first step.

Basically, I don’t know how to do 95% of the things taught in this class. I want to give up the class, but it’s way past the drop date and I won’t get refunded.

Nobody else seems to be having problems. I don’t know if it’s because they already know how to make websites and they just need the course credits, or if I’m very stupid. Probably both.

Could you ask to borrow somebody else's notes or for somebody you know who is doing well to take some time with you, helping you with the info? If need be, then you could ask someone to tutor you and offer payment......
