Today is my last day of class. It has been a struggle lately due to seasonal depression, but I got through, just barely and with support.
Now that it is almost over I'm starting to think about the things I might want to do over the break. I think I want to be in my body and take care of myself really well. Better fresh diet and exercise. Less sleep. Etc. Do you all have plans for what you are going to do when it's over?

Exercise, clean, and possibly studying. I recently interviewed for an internship doing something I've never done before. If I get it, I'm going to spend break reading up on what I'd be doing.
The exercise I need to do just to keep my mental health in check. It's been hard the last few weeks with it getting dark super early, being super cold, and having lots of end of the semester projects. I haven't been doing nearly as much as I'd like to be doing. Congrats on finishing the semester! I had my last day of class on Wednesday. I have one assignment due tonight and an exam next week, then I'm done. This is the first semester since I started college that I finished without an I, W, or F, so I can relate to struggling through. But you did it, and that's what counts. I think you have a good plan in place to get you ready for the next semester. What's everyone else's plans? |

I will be taking care of my Dad and spending time with family; once they leave, it will be my Dad and I getting used to a new routine. We have doc appointments to go to, some home projects to get caught up on, reading, movies at home, and playing with the dogs. Lots of downtime otherwise.

Get a full time job and work on my grad school applications! Also maybe treat myself to some nice things!

It sounds like people have real plans. That helps me try to solidifying a vague sense of just taking care of myself. It's a whole month without structure so I am inspired to create something more concrete. Thanks.

Nothing yet. I'll find out if I get it by the end of this week. It's a technical writing internship for credit, so I'm crossing my fingers!

Some times though you need to have that time just to see what strikes you too; considering how structured our lives are when we are in school or are working, some times it is nice just to use the time to have no plans at all and do whatever! There aren't many times in life that there is that opportunity too.

Yeah, I think some downtime is in order for me. And some outdoor time. I have SAD so some sunshine might be helpful.
