Hi guys,
I am signed up for a mission trip, and will be gone for the whole entire week for spring break. I am in a state where I doubt I'd have the experience that I wanted. and I could get a work out trying to be pleasing and all spiritual and stuff, which can be very tiring. I'm the kind of person that liked breathing space. Besides the churchy thing, which I'm not completely whole-heartedly into, there are only 1 or 2 people that I talk to in regular meetings, the rest are strangers. Just wondering if any one has gone on a mission trip over 5 days. If you did, what was the experience like?

Hmm. I've never been to one but a bunch of my friends have done it. It's very true that you are surrounded by a lot of people most of the time. I think if you're really looking for breathing space I would recommend building one in your mind. I know I've been building mine up and it's a place where there is only peace and relaxation. Not bad thoughts or people allowed. You might want to try that?

I've gone on a mission trip for 2 weeks one time. It was pretty exhausting, and I was VERY glad to get home (even though I was also very moody). I didn't know anybody when I started out, and I am a very shy person. But everyone who usually goes, they are pretty friendly and encouraging. By the end you'll have more friends than when you started. I promise. I hope you have a good experience!

I've been on a bunch of mission trips. Some were a few days to almost two weeks. I've been to several states with a camp called MissionFuge and some other camps, I've also been to Mexico and twice to Honduras. Every experience was amazing to me. I hope you enjoy yours.
