I will keep this short. I am a guy who will be writing a prestigious exam after 6 months. I study at home, and due to some reasons I am completely shut off from the outside world, barring the Internet. But I have been realizing that I am losing my energy day by day. My exam needs patience, toughness and perseverance but I am lost. I make the most silly excuses and justifications and revels in laziness. I know what will be the consequences but I cannot do anything.
How I can control my emotions? What will you do if you were in my shoes?

I would figure out how to re-energize (which can only happen from "outside" as we are a closed system?), maybe find other books and subjects to read for a bit that I find interesting, a different kind of novel than I normally read perhaps. You need "new" ideas. Go outside and take a walk, no need to talk to anyone or go anywhere particular, just "out" in the air and use your senses.
