I'm trying to study and right now it's difficult. I have a test at 2:30, I feel unprepared, and unwanted thoughts are creeping into my mind. I have stuff to do, but distracted. This weeks events are just running over and over in my head. Last night a few thoughts came about the test that I have and I almost want it to happen.... Studying has always been hard... then add these thoughts and it equals a nightmare.

I don't know how you study, but I have always made a study guide. put everything I thought was going to be on the test onto a few pages and carried it around with me everywhere I went and read it over and over and over again. sometimes I wrote it over and over again to commit it to memory. this seemed to work for me. good luck on your test.

I have found studying to be easier for me when I go to the library rather than stay at my house. I don't know if that's possible for you. But for me it creates fewer distractions. Related to another post, I'll go to a computer lab and plug in head phones with classical music or something else and then spread my books out and sit for hours studying.

Also, maybe download Insight Timer, a meditation app, to your phone. When you get distracted you might try meditating for 5 or 10 minutes to clear your head and then go back to studying. Just a thought.

Best of luck.
