Okay ,people always think I have autism but I really don't ,One time my friend asked me if I did or not. I am very high functioning. I can talk very well but sometimes have a hard time saying words. I have a hard time expressing my feelings and have very poor social skills and communicating skills. I also want to make friends. I can see how they can get confuse but I don;t think I have it.
do you think I have autism ? |

It's hard to say. There are some cool self quizzes on the psych central site (maybe there's a tab at the top of this page that says "quizzes") that might help you out. My son was diagnosed as having Asperger's Syndrome which some people consider to be on the autism spectrum. I could describe what he' like but even though there are lots of things that Aspie people have in common, there are also lots of ways that they're different. He's amazing at expressing feelings, but he loves to spin poi (Hawaiian sock like things that have a tennis ball in the end and that you spin around). When he was little he was really into watching fans turn.
Anyhow, even though we've never been diagnosed, my husband and I have lots of Asperger type traits and so do a lot of people I know because we're all in science and usually really, really into our subjects and not so good with people skills. |

you have a few features of it but that doesnt mean you have it. if you had autism you would probably have been diagnosed by now.
