Hey. I'm having trouble going through school right now. I can't control my feelings for people., wanting to harm them. I almost got suspended for what happens this one time. I really want to know if it's just a lady problem. I only get like this when I get my period.

Am I going crazy?? This lady pissed me off and I almost choked her, she's old too. Like I guess this is a female problem but, when I get my period I become more depressed, more upset, just more angry. Every little thing pisses me off to the point that I want to hurt people. And I try drinking to make myself feel happy. I really am worried. Does this happen to any other girls? I'm going crazy. My friend took a bag of chips from me and I immediately wanted to cry as i strangled her. I was furious. I just feel pissed off at the world right now. Like I want to go set people's houses on fire because I legitimately hate them. Is this a lady problem or is it just me?

Welcome to Psych Central afeelingd!!! Yes, changes in our hormones can cause agitation. Are you on any medications? If so, you may want to communicate this with your prescribing doctor. Some antidepressants can cause feelings of agitation and hostility, and require a mood stabilizer to prevent mania. Best wishes.

I'm not on medication. I just get really violent. I don't know if my level of violence is normal though.

Maybe you have PMDD.

No, if you cannot control yourself that is not normal. Perhaps you would benefit from some medication.

Perhaps you may benefit from having your hormone levels checked. Just an idea.
Thanks for this!
