I'm trying to go back to school but I might be having some issues because I'm under 24 (turning 23 on the 19th) and I don't want to have to wait

But I want to go in to human services with the goal of one day becoming a substance abuse counselor. I went through a traumatic childhood and a lot of it had to do with people I was living with having substance abuse problems and that's something I want to prevent in others and help those in need

Hey, now is the time to get to school if you want to go back. The longer people wait, the less likely they go or finish. Best of luck to you!
