Here's a good article I saw about getting a job after college:http://finance.yahoo.com/news/colleg...144554854.html I suggest students start early. Get some interviews, even at places you're not really excited about to get some interview practice.

What else are good ideas?

I found that doing internships while still in school helped a lot.

Set up and maintain a robust Linkedin profile.

While still in school try to take on small freelance jobs related to your field

When writing your resume don't just state your job name your responsibilities and what you accomplished

Ask for "informational interviews" with companies that interest you while you are still in school
