So, 6 years after starting college, I finally got my degree (BA in Psychology)!!

I took a semester off, I had a semester where I went only part time but was still living on campus, and then when I had just 1 semester left, my parents up and moved clear across the country (from NY to CA), and I couldn't handle living on campus with no home to go to on random weekends or during breaks...and then I didn't even think I could handle being far away from them, so I asked for, and was granted permission to finish my degree requirements online because I was going to move to California.

Well, I did, briefly, before my family actually, and well, it was hell, so I came back home and decided I was going to get my own apartment and pay for it with my own full time job...and I did. So while doing that, I took 1 or 2 classes at a time...and I failed statistics 2 once and withdrew once...and that was one of the classes I needed to finish my degree...so, I went back and forth with my school for what seemed like forever to see if they would grant me my degree without that class, and finally, last month, they said yes, we'll give you your degree as soon as your transcript gets put together.

Well, I cried -- bawled tears of joy and called everyone I know and posted on Facebook that I had graduated, but waiting for my diploma was killer because even though I knew I had graduated, it didn't feel official. But today, my diploma came in the mail, so it feels official, and I can't wait to get something to put it in and display it proudly!!!
