Hi everyone ☺ I'm a student and I love studying and learning. But nowadays, study is not enjoyment for me anymore. I don't enjoy studying ,instead I'm really really stressed about it. I'm worried about the huge amount of work, stressed about doing everything right. I read everything but still I'm not sure if I remember it or not, I want to study but I feel really tired when I open my book. Another problem is that my major subject is chemistry and I want to do my best to learn it, but when I open the book ,I feel really stressed and completely blank like I knew nothing about it. I'm really worried, please someone guide what should I do?
Thanks☺

aLearner, do not worry at all. Try to get yourself involved in some activities of your choice. It will not only instill confidence in you but also improve your academic performance.

Chemistry is hard. Try to relax and absorb it. My son got his butt kicked in freshman college chemistry and had to change majors, but now he is happier.

No matter what major you have (even leisure studies) you will not do everything right. You won't remember everything. It's not possible. The best thing you can do to help your studying and schoolwork is stop holding yourself to an impossible standard. Believe me, I know how difficult this is.

P.S.
If you are committed to a career in chemistry, don't doubt you can do it. There is no easy major if you don't want to do it. There is no impossible major if you are committed to a career in it.
