That entirely depends on you, what courses you are taking, how much work/testing they have.

For instance, I am spending more time this semester on assignments, because in my classes I have more assigned. One class, online, I am having difficulty, because the prof is detailed to a degree I have never experienced. She took off two points for two letters not being appropriately upper case in a discussion forum. It's ridiculous, but this is a required class. I am going to have to put in a lot of additional time for checking the tiny details.

I would advise focusing on an honest assessment of your coursework and you. This class requires x number of tests and x number of assignments. They are spaced x number of days apart. Then do a completely honest assessment for you and your study habits.

For example, I can be too hasty. I skip over things like capital letters to get an assignment complete. I also procrastinate, which is making this class much more difficult for me. I have a test on Wednesday. However I have a C (failing in grad school), so I am going to start getting organized, do required readings, and study tonight.

Even people in the same class will have completely different study habits. It has nothing to do with intelligence. It's solely about you and what amount of time you take to study in this class for this assignment or test.

Good luck.
