My first college semester is coming to a conclusion and if all goes well I'll get straight A's! Next semester I'll be finishing my pre-requisites in nursing. I will be taking the HESI test in the summer. It will not be until next spring that I'll be able to start the nursing program (one full year). Regardless I'm excited, nervous and need to get my anxiety and time management under control. My longterm career goal is to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner.

useful tips most appreciated regarding time management and stress!

Congratulations on finishing your first semester! That's awesome!

Stress and time management definitely go hand in hand.
As far as time management - that's definitely a good one to get down early in college.
Lists are your friend, and procrastination is NOT your friend. I have a list of reasons telling me to stop procrastinating hanging in front of my desk.
I don't remember all of them off the top of my head, and I'm too lazy to get up from my cozy bundled up spot on the couch to look right now...

But some of them are:
-Ideas need time to jell
-You're probably overestimating the pain
-It only get's worse
-You blow off your chances for help

Good luck with everything!
Don't stress yourself out too much.
You are more important than your education.
