I didn't let on

My mum & me
Bumped into their sister
She was happy
That her younger sibling
Was eating one yoghurt a day
And it clicked with me.
I never told a soul.

Boxing glove, was gossiping
And said that you
Were spied looking
Up anorexia online
At the youth cafe
And they speculated further
That in primary
Your hands were
Freezing and drained
Of colour.
But I held my ground,
It wasn't my place to say.
I was not close
To this group of girls.
So I found myself
In between friends.

A gang of girls
Teased you both

We were in the other class
So I just noticed
When I was promoted

And being fed by a drip
But I didn't know

We were only 11
