ive had problems with depression so i have had a hard time going to school the last year and my dad used to punish me for it and today i went to the doctor and talked about everything i felt and why its hard to go to school and we came to an agreement. now i can stay home from school without punishment any time i want if i dont feel good at all. this is the best news i have gotten in years

I hope this works out well for you. It is important to keep up with your studies. But it's also not helpful for you to be punished for not going. It's been many years since I was in school. But way back then I had my own struggles in this area. (I'll spare you the details.) So I can sympathize.
