I want to go back to school and get a degree, but I feel like I cannot do that right now. I am still working with my psychiatrist to find the right treatment for me. This may take a while. I just wish I was compliant right from the beginning when I first contracted Schizophrenia. If I had been treatment-compliant back then, maybe my life would be different. But I suppose everything happens for a reason, and it serves me.

I would try to go to school when you feel you are ready. I went to college while I was trying to find the right medication. It was one heck of an experience. Thus, find the right medication first, then return to school. This may take time, but it is better than tackling school as well as finding the right medication at the same time. School will always be there for you. But, your motivation and experience will be different if you feel ready and can take on the challenge of going to school. Best wishes!

...and when you do attend school, try to be kind to yourself. You don't have to do as many courses as everyone else, nor get the highest grades.

I have 0 qualifications, and quite honestly, it would be nice to get at least something before I die (yes I know it sounds morbid, but what an accomplishment it would be!). maybe I'd feel I've actually done something with my life.

on the other hand, I can't work, so who gives a ****. it will never come in useful
