@Blah nlah I hope you find the area that you have a natural ability. Sometimes there are aptitude tests that define our preferences. There are free ones you can find in an internet search.
Another way is to list all the things you enjoy doing and see if there is a common thread. And you can also keep a wish list of jobs you think you would like. Talk to someone in the field to see what the demands of the field are and what talents are needed. Happy searching @CANDC

When I was trying to figure out which path to take, I looked at my university's course catalog extensively, and I decided from there which courses actually looked interesting to me. Then I tried some of them out. Do you have to choose now what path to take, or do you have some time to decide?

If I could go back in time, i would advise myself to stay in school until I had a credential that would get me a decent career. I got a Psychology bachelor degree but ended up working in an unrelated field and regretted that I had not continued with my education and gone into research or teaching. I loved Psychology. My student loan was so high I thought I had to just graduate and find work, but the problem is that you will be stuck as a wage slave unless you have a profession.

I understand the importance of education aligned with one's career goals.
And I want to pursue my education further I am currently stuck at what I should do I’ll try what you did, WastingApparatus and I’ll try each one out, though it seems daunting |

Go for broad degrees. Like if you're a STEM person study math instead of engineering/physics/comp sci/etc, because you can get a job in those or later study those more easily with a math degree rather than, say, become a math teacher, mathematician, or a statistician with one of the other degrees. Just as an example.
