Does anyone else have an issue with them?
I don't now, but from the time I entered school in general to when I entered high school I was bullied pretty badly.

I mean, it's not a school specific issue, but it's still and issue in school. I know in 2nd grade to 7th grade, when it was more intense my grades tanked. Unhappy kids make terrible students. (this stress from bullying was on top of learning disabilities mind you so it just exasperated them)

Thanks puffy

But, like I said before, I don't deal with bullies anymore. Last time I was bullied was in 9th grade. But I've since forgiven the girl who did it because she was bipolar and was switching meds and her new medication made her mean. They guy who was with her I don't really care about because he was ...how to put this lightly...well, the facts are he never graduated from high school, probably still does drugs, and it seems he is perfectly happy with this.

My friends now wouldn't allow bullying to happen to me anyways. The second I told them I think they would go after him or her like hornets. It makes me feel loved to know people would stick up for you like that.

I remember in grade 8 being teased and mocked because I took a bus with a disabled boy. I became shy and withdrawn. I just wanted to crawl under a rock and hide.

Bullies are how I became self-injurious, eating disorder inclined, suicidal and homicidal. Homicidal didn't last long though.

Well, for me, it's always caused negative self image. It's really slow, and sometimes I go back and forth so much I can't tell if I've made any progress...but over the years it adds up and I can say I now have much healthier relationships with other people then I used too. This basically means that I have actual friendships, don't feel completely emotionally isolated from my parents, and yes, I can actually stand other human beings that I do not have a blood relationship too.

I have been called names and such.. for how I dress or wearing black nail polish, and occasionally will get some immature person who blocks my locker (I have a bottom one) on purpose so I'll be late to class. But nothing like really bullying.... err.

Was bullied bad from Kindergarten through High School.
School was VERY difficult for me. Never felt safe. Hit, kicked, spit on, pushed in mud, vomit placed in my desk, degraded in school news paper, among other things....I hated it!! This has caused me great difficulty with social relationships. I always think people don't really like me, are talking behind my back, and are only out to hurt me because I must deserve it for some reason.

Sucks.....wasn't safe at home either. NO WAY out!!

Things started changing when I got to college. No more school bullies...but I still expect it around every corner.

Sorry ya'll had to endure such horrible bullying!

I guess I learned at an early stage how to block people out because I don't remember being bullied in Elementary School, and I was home schooled throughout my Middle School years. So that just left me with High School to deal with.

There is a point in which a person forbids to allow someone else to control their emotions. Like I can care less about the other students or what they do and only pay attention to the teachers/administrators because I have to. When someone is being mean or calling you names...just flash a grin at them and don't let on they are getting to you. Or you could look right through them giving your infamous look of "I wouldn't care if you were laying on a sidewalk bleeding, I'd step right over you & keep going" also giving no reaction to their abusive ways will eventually get under there skin even more. They will get bored quicker with you and leave you alone faster.

I think I've mastered this... because I honestly don't care what people say about me now. That might not be a good thing per se, but it works. So after being told that I reject people before they can reject me.... I see it more or less as at least I'll never have to say the words "goodbye".
