I never even ordered a cap and gown. I didn't buy announcements. Nothing. I told my mom that I'm not going... What are they going to do if I just don't show up? Can they really make me?

speak to the counselor or principal or home room teacher and let them know that you aren't going and ask if they can mail your diploma or if you can pick it up. Make sure that that's what you really want to do, though.

I know it's what I want to do. I see no point in going at all... thank you for the advice. I'll talk to someone and see if they can mail it.

No, you don't have to go... I know people who skipped graduation from highschool, and graduation from university/college. Some of them DID wind up regretting it in later years, but not all of them. Zen gave good advice.
