SOOOO... guess what I've been up to?
Graduating!!!! And getting hitched all on the same day!!!!! I got a degree in the science of nursing with distinction and a concentration in leadership AND I married my fiance May 1st 2009 Huuzzzaaahhh! I will apply to take NCLEX soon. I've also been accepted to the bachelors program for nursing... I'm hoping I can find some sort of scholarship for myself to pay for it because I am so close to achieving everything I have worked my butt off for. One more year of online classes and I will have a BSN with a minor in Gerontology and Honors designation (plus whatever other designation I will get for grades... most likely cum laude) Y'all... that's not even the best part - I get to be a nurse!!!!! How exciting is that? Finally all this work has paid off. I have to study for the NCLEX and then I get to take care of people. I feel like this is a dream come true Also, my mother who has terminal cancer was able to come to my graduation (across the country) and pin me. I'll never forget. I'm on cloud nine right now... just thought I'd share. YOU CAN DO IT (it's this moment that y'all are workin' so hard for). |

Im so happy for you beutifulxdreamr! Its so good to see people accomplishing their dreams...Im sure you will be a wonderful nurse! Good luck with your new career!
