My philosophy of life: (as written now, as read about from Psychological Self-Help, ch 3)

  • I do want to live a fulfilling life- chosing a life of service in some way. Possibly choosing a career where I can continually provide services that will help others in some way. I can also serve others through other means as well. I strive to be selfless.
  • I also want to strive to a high moral standard, following Bahá'í values, living a life of virtuous and honest deeds.
  • I also want to be able to enjoy myself, to enjoy time spent with family and friends, to enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
  • I want to be able to continue my education, even after I am done with school, to always keep educating myself and self-improving.
  • I want to make sure that I stay emotionally healthy, centered, and grounded. When I need things in life, I need to acknowledge these needs.
  • Strive to eliminate all of my prejudices, and be as highly functioning as possible, in a way, so I can be of more service to others.
  • Have lots of deeply meaningful relationships in my life, and when it is time to raise kids, to raise them to the best of my ability.
