Following on from my 'Buddying' idea:

Thank you all for your positive responses.
I have made a 'Buddy challenge' to another member, following their 'Buddy, hoarder / motivation' post. I've come up with the 'BUDDY~ALONG~ATHON' idea. I won't duplicate here the full details,(see mentioned thread), but wondered, if anyone else wants to 'Buddy up' and join in. Should the poster accept of course ! They might not.
If you have a particular challenge, hard to face alone. Why not face it together ? I'll be clearing a dent in my bedroom mess, and hoping the member challenged will be working 'with' me, in spirit as well, as we share a similar problem and lack motivation. For you, it may be that you can't face a certain chore/workout session/written project/D.I.Y task/ social activety/shopping trip/a shower.

What ever, would be easier, knowing at the same time, a 'buddy', was facing their challenge too, and working 'with' you.
If my 'Buddy challenge' is accepted, we will check in here, and work for 2 hours 'virtually together' then report back to each other.
So what do you think ?

Want to join in my Sat (today)
'BUDDY~ALONG~ATHON' ?
Thanks for this!

Hey LZ, hows it going. 'tis me , for i am that member. Yeah good idea, if it gives both of us the motivation to get started and achieve something. then thats got to be good. I'm actually ok once i get started, its just getting started is the problem. I guess when you have no one else in your life to consider and no one to kick you up the bum it's easy to think meh what's the point. The broken glass is still on the floor from the sauce bottle thats how lacking in motivatiuon i am.( must at least pick that up today). So yeah challenge accepted. Not today cos i need to buy some cleaning products ( what do you suggest i need) but one day next week sure lets go for it. ( going out tomorrow). My dream would be for a young woman to knock at the door and say ' hey ive seen you around and heard you talking. I really fancy you, i'd move in but you'd need to get that house sorted out . I'll give you a hand lets start in the bedroom. Haha, aint gonna happen is it.

Ha ha. I'm so just like you ! I didn't want to name you on my post directly, in case I offended you. O.k. We'll 'BUDDY' Up, and go for the challenge another day. However, I can't delay my corner, today. Well I could, quite easily, but I won't. Promise to myself. Even if I do just one hour, 'BUDDY~LESS~ALONG~ATHON'

I have to ! Well think of me, anyway. I don't know what time to start, as I've been awake all night and not sure, if I need to sleep now, or not. Then there's the daily argument with myself, 'Get thee, in the shower, woman' coupled with a much needed , hair wash today, and with long hair, a bit of a chore to wash/dry. (Sometimes, even a shower, seems pointless) Shouldn't I see that as pampering ? Just my state of mind again. Not going out, there's always tomorrow. Well, for me, tomorrow has come !

I really, really hope I achieve my now, 'BUDDY~LESS~ALONG~ATHON' challenge, unless anyone else is up, for the two hour 'BUDDY~ALONG~ATHON' challenge, and can join me.

You must pick up that glass ! No excuses ! (at the wrath of LZ !) You wanted kick up the rear ? this is 'BUDDY' tough love ! Pick up large pieces of glass. Sweep floor, and finally dap areas, gently with a piece(s) of bread. The bread picks up, the invisible splinters.
Worcester sauce stains, so a cleaner with bleach in, unless floor is lino, and bleach would discolour it. Read the label first. Often good old fashioned neat washing up liquid squirted directly on stain, left to soak, then rinse off, does the trick.
Go do ! That's you now mini 'Buddy' challenge.
Imagine telling your new 'Buddy' 'I did, the floor !'
Have a lovely time out today, whatever you're doing. X

O.k. Guys 'n Dolls, erm, I meant onboard, 'BUDDIES'.

Set you own 2 hour slot. Or maybe 2 hours is too much, too soon. Maybe disability, physical ailments, or mental health stops you 'actively' joining in. Just whatever you are doing, today, think maybe P.C. 'BUDDY~ALONG~ATHON' for a slot today. Even if you have no challenge yourself, put some music on, and enjoy it, maybe. E.G. For me, even music gives me no pleasure anymore most days, yet I loved music.

I don't want to 'bang on' and labour my idea. But for me, and maybe you. I'm going for the challenge, I set myself. Even if your challenge, is to just sit, with notepad and pen, and write your own challenge. Jeez, at one point, opening my curtains was a huge challenge.
Bear with me, and my idea, I may tomorrow, be back in my minestrone~soup despair. But today:
My 'BUDDY~ALONG or BUDDYLESS~ALONG~ATHON
means.

Get up. Make tea. Sit downstairs a while (I rarely move to another room except obv. Kithchen and bathroom visits)
Eat breakfast. (perish the thought !) can't run a car, without fuel.
Put things in d.w. (errm, bird, that'd be one bowl, one spoon. Get a chuffing grip !)
Put some music/radio on.
Throw some clothes on.
Tackle bedroom floor. Lift heavy stuff down stairs, and into recycle bins outside. One hour min. Two hours max. No sneaking off to make more tea, set timer if neccassary.

Rest (well earned, hopefully.)
Put washing on.
Shower. Wash hair. (pamper.) Dress.

Do not retreat back to bed !
Go to local shop for cigs, and just 2 magazines, not 4. Smile, at the world, whoever walks by. Hell, I might even freak 'em all out and say 'Good afternoon !'

Relax !
Think of how the 'BUDDY~ALONG~ATHON' is going, for others.

Check back here.

I am sorry again, my posts are so long, but but when there's fire in ya belly. Go, girl, go !

So join in, it's 'BUDDY~ALONG~ATHON' Saturday !

Sorry, all who supported me, or replied. I was in desp. pain, and had to be admitted to hosp, via emergency. It was horrendous. Thank God, a neighbour, came with me. I then had so many tests, etc, scans.
Thankfully, whilst at hosp. my body went into shock, and I had an epileptic fit. My first ever. Thank God, I wasn't here, alone. Now , I have to stay calm, etc, and recover. All very scary.
When able to, I'll revive my 'Buddying' idea.

Ptangptang, I didn't get your visitor's message.

Keep 'Budding' each other, if you want to join in. Hopefully, I'll recover soon. It has knocked me, and I have to stay calm. So I won't want to talk about my dog. Take care, all . Keep up the 'Buddying'. XX
