General: I'm trying everything and I'm not quitting, but, I need to know how to i become at least 70% efficient in my life. Because, there are things I want to do with my life and there are things I have to do in my life. I know I'm not a robot, but, my god I just want to work. I hate wasting time it literally eats at me to the core. I might not be anything in my life, but, I want to at least say I tried. It's mainly technological distractions. I'm not even on social media except YouTube. At this rate I'm probably gonna be a vagabond. People have called me stressful so I know.

Specific question: how do I have short bursts of full concentration for hours without doing drugs?

Hello Nigel: I'm sorry I don't know what mdma is. And I don't think I have any suggestions with regard to your question. (Perhaps other PC members will have some thoughts they'll wish to share.) However I noticed this is your first post here on PC. So I thought I would at least say welcome to Psych Central. I hope you find PC to be of benefit.

Well get a part time job. It gets you out, teaches you skills, and makes you feel useful, gives you extra money.

I work part time and it's a lifesaver. I've had to continue work during covid, and at first was worried but at the same time grateful. I'm not stuck at home, I'm still making money. Left to my own devices is really bad and dangerous in some ways.
