I schedule my day out the night before; I don’t wait to wake up and then ponder “Gee, what should I be accomplishing today?” because then I won’t ever choose to do the tough or boring items. It’s much better if I can just chug on through the tedious stuff on autopilot instead of draining my flimsy stores of self-control. I often take advantage of my limited powers of attention (see Day One) and distract myself with a book on CD.Too often at night I find myself regretting not having accomplished what I had planned to get done. With the author's insights, I am hoping to be more disciplined. What do you think? |
