Hi Fellow Members

Long Story Short...

I am 47 and I have only like worked 10 odd years in my Life.

In Sept 2001, I was Diagnosed with Schizophrenia and in 2004 I applied for the Disability Pension, which was Granted.

Sometime after, I was told that I was now Retired and no longer required to work.

All. I have been doing since, is Drinking Coffee & Smoking Cigs, with a very Sendantry Lifestyle.

Instead of being supported to remain Employed! & Keep my Fitness & Motivation up.

Now 16 years later, I am so unfit for Eg: To I went to my local Men's Shed to Install my Solar Panal on the top of my Camper, is was 4 hr odd job and all I was doing was up & down a ladder, and using a Cordless Drill to drill 8 holes & Tech Screwing down the Solar Panal with 16 Tech Screws & using a Wratchet to do up 8 Bolts.

For the duration of this 4 odd hr period, I had to always take breaks, not helping the factor, it was pretty Humid @ around 76% but not that hot @ 27 deg, I was working out side though too.

Based on my experience today, I feel I am in Dire need to get fit or the alternative, I could very well be having some serious Health Issuse in the future.

This afternoon, I had a random thought & did some reasearch, I was wondering if I was Subscribed Amphetamines ( as to which I have never used ) to give me some motivation of a Morning, so living in hope it would actually get me of my bed & out there doing some much needed walking??

Alternatively to this, I was not long of the Phone with a Cousin of mine, he is suggesting to go to my Doc and try and get on Testosterone, I have already been Issused with a Blood Request Test Form, as to see if indeed I do have Low Testosterone, based on my current Symtoms, No Motivation to Exercise, Zero Sex Drive and or any other thing that's related to Low Testosterone?

I'd like to know if there is anyone else on Here whom is have simular Problems? With being Obese? Am & 107-117 Kg,@ 6'1" & lack of Motivation & Fitness, an Low SexDrive ( Not that it's really Bothering me to have Zero Sex Drive, I have no interest in wanting to have sex, and I hope it stays that way, but that may well be the Symptom)

Your Thoughts Please

Hello Mr. President: The Skeezyks doesn't really know a lot about all of this. He has not been employed for... oh... probably the past 15 years or so. He has now aged into his retirement years. It is difficult to keep up one's energy level & motivation when one no longer has to get up every day & go to work. In the Skeezyls' case, his wife was working to support the household. So helping out by keeping the home fires burning, as they say, provided some motivation to stay active. (By the way, the Skeezyks also has no sex drive left either... thank goodness...)

Personally it has been my experience that any medications I have taken have mostly just made me groggy... even the one's that were supposed to pep me up. Perhaps it's just me. I don't know anything about amphetamines. I believe they are highly addictive, are they not? Getting tested for low testosterone is probably a worthwhile effort. There is a YouTuber named Noah who uploads videos on the subject of his experiences with low testosterone. His YouTube user name is: "Bignoknow" Noah has the advantage that his dad is a physician. So, in addition to struggling with low testosterone himself, he also has access to professional medical information related to the condition. You might find his videos to be of interest.

Good luck!
