Gonna go easy on myself. It's ok to be a lost fart in a windstorm.

Somebody said, 21 days for habit change, but 90 days for lifestyle change.
Thanks for this!

for several years now i have been practicing to "BE KIND".
it has not been easy, nor quick, but i persist.

i was given this little formula for change, it really works:

1) DECIDE to change;
2) Decide WHAT to change;
3) CHANGE as much as you can whenever you can;
4) PRAISE yourself every time you manage some change.

Going Easy On Myself

I'm having a great time today learning very boring financial math, mind-boggling, eye-crossing, time-consuming financial math! I am totally concentrating (ADHD?), not dissociating (C-PTSD?), not depressed at all. Keeping me very busy is the key to me being happy and productive. Boredom and self-direction is my enemy! That's when all my obsessing and self-destructive behavior starts.

Seriously, hours of financial analysis- no problem! Everybody else in the room was glassy-eyed--not me! I went into a class about computer tech and it was like Chinese to me and had to walk out. My brain instantly turned off.

Very interesting...
