I need to do some serious goal setting.
My problem with this is that I take on too much too fast. I struggle with motivation, struggle to be okay, and then at some point the frustration with it all, the want for change, transforms into: YES! I must do these things! These things will make it better. It's like I lunge into a giant shove, pushing myself forward, to make things better. But with the over exertion I fall over. Why am I writing this? I want to develop these goals, but to do that, I really need to sit down, and take the time to look at what I'm doing. One goal at a time. One step at a time. Once that's manageable, then to take on more if I so choose. This is a message to myself. I'm locking in this intention.

Thank you for that! I do the same thing. I start out like a rockstar, take on too much, become overwhelmed then, BAM! Right back down into the pit I go. Best of luck to you!

I can sooooo relate. I often set the bar too high and feel disappointed that I don't measure up to my unrealistic expectations. When I underwhelm myself with goals I tend to feel calmer and am able to slowly move forward.
I'm cheering you on and inspired by your post!
